Education
Dr. Castleman was a 1997 graduate of the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University. Castleman is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Indiana Optometric Association and the North Central Optometric Society. In addition to her Indiana certification in ocular pharmaceuticals, she is certified by the International Association of Boards of Examiners in Optometry for the treatment and management of ocular diseases.
Personal Care
Dr. Castleman works with patients of all ages and visual conditions, and her primary care specialties include pediatric care and contact lens fitting. For children, she performs visual efficiency and perception exams, and provides corrective treatments. She is skilled at contact lens fitting, from the most common disposable contacts to complicated specialty lenses, and will advise her patients regarding the appropriate fit and options available. Dr. Castleman is also experienced in the diagnosis of ocular conditions such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and macular degeneration.
